Blue Heron Farm

Icelandic Horses

_____________________________________

We have been breeding Icelandics for several years now, having fallen in love with their strength and calmness and flexibility of purpose. We train them with Natural Horsemanship methods, producing a horse that is even more calm and sensible, light to the aids, and fully expecting a warm and caring relationship with his/her humans. We practice gentle and defined Parelli training methods and are working hard to improve our abilities in that direction. They live outside comfortably here, with run-in shelters available, in close-knit groups.
